Kids' Fall Science Series

Catching Water (grades 3-5)
Students will create a 3-D model of a water basin to see where rain travels and collects. They will then see how natural and human activities can alter water pathways and impact water use.

Simple Spinning (grades 6-8)
By building a "spinner," students will learn about objects that spin - satellites, car parts, etc. Spinning will help them understand rotational speed, angular momentum and velocity. Whew - are you dizzy yet?!
