This basic programming class will help students understand the complexity of video games and computer animation.
Students will create a movie that plays on the Web using a program called Alice. Alice is designed to be a student's first, simple exposure to object-oriented programming. It allows students to learn basic computer science while creating animated movies and simple video games. Students control the behavior of 3-D objects and characters in a virtual world to make their movie. Students can choose the subject and scripting for their movie.
